Flagstaff
One of the best things about living in Phoenix? You can wake up on a Sunday and decide to spend the day by the pool in 70 degrees, or drive three hours north and play in snow. Here we are at one of the small spots in Flagstaff:
The Lonely Polygamist by Brady Udall
It was a good thing that I had two five-hour flights involved in New York Toy Fair. Because this book was really long and would've taken me the whole year to finish in my 'real life'. It was highly enjoyable - I definitely recommend to my reader friends. Those with frequent long flights especially.
PTA Reflections
Before Christmas, Jake helped Abigail enter the PTA Art programme. She made a little book: 'The Adventures of Abigail and Fwaffe' (her giraffe). It was submitted for the Kindergarten to Second Grade category and our little smarty-pants WON! She won the award for Outstanding Interpretation and her artwork went on to be submitted to the District. Grandma flew out for her Award Ceremony (we just heard there will be another one for this - Grandma, want to come again?)
So proud of my talented little monkey!
