End of School Year 2016

On the night of the last day of school, we have a game night party where we play games all evening and eat tons of candy. They also get an end-of-school-year gift. Abigail got a new Tony and Bryony got a Rockin' Royal Barbie. Abigail finished 3rd grade, Bryony pre-K. On to summer break!

Today's mum adventure: in clearing out clutter, I may have accidentally donated a favourite stuffed animal (OK, I did). So I now have one very upset daughter who has organised a search party for us all to look for him, because I haven't told her where he actually is 😔 In the meantime, I am now ordering same stuffed animal from Amazon. #donatingcostmemorethandollars

My Mother's Day gifts sum up my kids perfectly (the ones old enough to know what's going on, that is).

Abigail followed the instructions in her Highlights magazine to make me this pretty deodorizer thing. Picked out and measured her fabric at Joanns, in my favourite colours, sat in her room quietly working on it for hours. Amazing.

Bryony asked her dad to take her shopping to pick out a new bikini for me. Got there, had a fit over which one, threw a toddler-style whopper of a tantrum in the store, came home with nothing, and promptly got sent to her room.

I love them both equally.
