Palm Springs

We tried to go to Palm Springs and re-create the fun we had for Jake's 40th birthday there. Tried. Somebody didn't sleep AT ALL. I drove around from 3:30am to 5:30am, when Jake took over and wheeled the stroller around the hotel until 7am. It also happened to be an unbearable 122 degrees while we were there. We made the best of it for the girls but it was not our best trip!

Swim Season

We're back for our 7th year of City of Phoenix Summer Swim Programme. 4 weeks of swim lessons for Abigail and Bryony, 2 weeks for Darcy, and dive team for Abby - all for $120! You just can't beat it! I can't wait to see how Darcy does :)

Family Photo Shoot

Since I had been meaning to do this all of Darcy's first year, I took the opportunity to have family pictures taken when a last-minute opening with an unknown photographer came up on Facebook. I knew I was taking a chance but we threw together some outfits and met her in the park the very next day. She took 30 quick minutes, and charged me just $100, and I drove home not expecting very much out of it. Imagine my surprise when these stunning images were the result! Amazing!
