Abigail chose the theme for her 5th birthday party before she'd even had her 4th. She told me that 4 should be Ariel (and it was) and that 5 should be Strawberry Shortcake. I am making her sound like a demanding diva here, but
as you probably know, I am a willing participant in birthday themes!
We kept this 5th birthday party very small. Firstly because I wanted it to be at our house, and have only a few guests so that we could spend quality time with all of them rather than oversee a small preschool class group. And secondly, because Abigail and Morgan's real birthday celebration is going to be a trip to Disneyland at the end of the month. They are so spoiled! But 5 is a pretty big deal.
