Abigail's Sixth Birthday

Abigail turned SIX and her birthday party theme was giraffes. I am surprised we made it to six without doing this theme before, as giraffes have always been her favourite thing. Nanna bought her a wind-up musical giraffe about two months before she was born "in case I'm not here for her birth". And "Fwaffe" has been by her side ever since (as a side note, Bryony has also had a Fwaffe since the day she was born). Abigail probably has a collection of thirty different stuffed animal giraffes, plastic giraffes, giraffe books, giraffe t-shirts, you name it.

Baby Nathan's Surprise Visit

On my birthday, I opened the front door expecting to greet my parents for their usual Spring stay. And in walks my SISTER! Holding my NEPHEW! Who I had not yet met! It was a wonderul surprise and the best birthday present :) Check him out, how cute is he?!

We spent a solid three weeks with him and he stole the girl's hearts as much as mine. I was really surprised by how interested in a baby they were actually. Bryony is still talking about "baby Naffan". "Baby Naffan wanna have one, Baby Naffan gonna have one"...
