Playtime in the Garden

The weather was so lovely that we spent a good amount of time just playing in nanna & granddad's garden, or in Aunty Natalie's:

first time meeting Baby Cameron

visiting the roses that are part inspiration for Jake's tattoo

Aunty Alex - who had just shared her exciting news - that she's pregnant with a Parker family tie-breaker baby!

do we look alike or WHAT?!

Jake and I took over 400 pictures in England! We had an AMAZING time. I really hope the trip will become a lifetime memory for at least Abigail, maybe Bryony. It was the best blend of both family time and 'touristy' days out in London just the four of us. I will break the photos up and try to narrow them down to less than 100 but I can't promise! It was a jam-packed visit with so much to show.

Here we are boarding the plane for take-off, not entirely sure how Bryony is going to react but she LOVED it!

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

My second book of the summer (I was on a roll, for me, ha) - recommended by Aunty Alex. This started out really good but I began to pick holes in it about two-thirds through. It was a nice change of genre for me though, which I enjoyed. And I still chose reading this every night over the drizzle that's on TV in the evenings ....

The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult

My first book of the summer - and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I recommended it to Grandma and she finished it 48 hours later!
