Well, I've finally caved & started a Blog! There are 3 things that inspired me:
1. My friend Jamie's BRILLIANT blog, my favourite late-night light-reading.
2. My friend Michael's suggestion that it would be a lot easier to share photos & updates than emailing everyone & clogging their inbox with massive downloads.
3. Our 6th wedding anniversary today!! Knowing how fast six years has flown by, I'm hoping a Blog will be a way to try & capture it all. Lofty ambition, yes, but I can try.
Six years ago today Courtney & I were running around Santa Barbara's farmers market buying red roses so that I could go to the Courthouse & marry the neighbour I just met 3 months earlier. Call us crazy (& most people did) but 3pm that day, a glorious October California afternoon, in the most beautiful Courthouse grounds you'll ever find, Jake & I threw caution to the wind and started new lives together.
2008, here I sit typing in our lovely home, in Phoenix of all places, with Abigail asleep in the room next to me & Jake outside tending to his yard. So much has changed in those six years! I can't wait to see what the next six bring ... let's hope I have time to blog it all!

I also knew that dh was "the one" very early on, but was not at the right time in my life to get married. Congrats on six years!

I know and once again I missed it! Can I blame it on my thesis, the advisory program, students, work, Lance...oh, did I fail to mention my little miss Mo who can't wait to see you guys in November :) Happy 6! Love and miss you. I really miss my bro too. Tell him I love him.
